Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the XXVIII International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society, which will take place from September 19th to 21st, 2024, at the International Congress Center in Katowice. This event will be exceptional as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Polish Cardiac Society. The longstanding tradition of our Society and its congresses demonstrates that despite many challenges and the intricate history of Poland, our position remains strong. The Society has endured numerous trials and has grown significantly thanks to the dedication of successive Presidents, Boards, and the active involvement of Associations, Sections, Departments, and Committees of the PCS.

We aim for this extraordinary congress to be a perfect opportunity to celebrate the jubilee of the PCS and become an event that will be remembered by all involved in the welfare of our Society. Thanks to the commitment of many individuals in the Organizing and Scientific Committees of the Congresses, we can boast one of the largest scientific events in the country, attracting experts from Poland and abroad.

During this three-day celebration of Polish cardiology, we will have the opportunity to participate in interesting scientific sessions, fascinating presentations, panel discussions, allowing us to delve into the latest achievements and innovations in the field of cardiology.

The theme and motto of this year's Congress, "Cardiology for Life. From Prevention to Intervention", aim to reflect a holistic approach to the subject of cardiology. From birth to death. Longer, healthier life through prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases is an approach that we will strongly promote this year.

The PTK Congress will be an opportunity to meet with outstanding experts in the field of cardiology, exchange knowledge and experiences, discuss the latest scientific and clinical achievements, and establish new professional contacts. We strive to ensure that the scientific program meets your expectations and discusses the latest guidelines, research results, diagnostic and therapeutic methods that we all use in our daily clinical practice.

We believe that participation in the Congress will bring you not only new perspectives and inspirations but also strengthen relationships with colleagues and contribute to further development of the field of cardiology in Poland.
